Anyways, he's played a ton of competitive league sports and even more casual stuff... he's the sportiest person I know, if that means anything to you. Anyways he says it doesn't matter if people wear full team replica uniforms, you just might find some people jealous of your gear. Of course if you totally suck ass people may scoff at you but at least you're playing and not sitting in front of the TV. Wearing a sports team jersey is just as much advertising as a sponsor jersey as well. How much is MLSE worth these days? I say if you got em, rock em, plus I don't feel like I could really do very effective advertising for companies that for the most part do not exist in North America. If someone thinks you're an ass in full team kit they are free to drop you if they can. People who laugh at you for your clothes are just uncomfortable with their own stuff.
i've been known to wear less than tasteful clothing, and while i disagree on your pro team kit stance, i will offer this as a compromise: whatever you wear, wear it with confidence. my late grandmother swore by her short shorts and tube tops until the bitter end and no one could say ***** to her because she always held her head high.
i'm still sticking with my plainish clothes for riding. that is all.

Ronin,

Re: College/University ...

That was me screaming incoherently across the intersection from you. You were riding fast so I thought I'd offer some belligerent encouragement.

CX ... specifically, disc brakes.

YEA OR NAY?

PS. None of us are UCI pros. Remove that from the equation.

Perhaps a silly question: are integrated headsets something that a frame has to be designed for? Or, conversely, can you swap in a conventional headset into a bike with an integrated headset?

Also: wtf is "semi-integrated"?

Yeah, a frame is designed to have an integrated headset. There might be an adapter out there to fit a conventional headset onto an integrated one, but I cannot think of any advantage to it.

I'll put some pics up of my new build later today and no, it ain't a Pulse (or at least, I don't think it is).

Why wouldn't you want a carbon fork with a cyclocross bike? It feels nice on the road

Why does it need one in the first place.

I meant, why switch it out if it comes with it? It is listed in the specs so it comes with it.

I was a Quick Silver rider. The loudest, most visually disturbing I felt existed at the time. I wish I had some of the jammies I used to street with, but they were all given up to the concrete gods while honing my mad skating skills. Re: evil beefs and slams

Back to the ITT

Because I don't trust Carbo on a Bike, I am 250+ pounds and I saw carbon fail on a bike/ NASTY/ I trust Carbon in a plane not on a bike ,, besides have you seen what a little squirrel can do to Carbon forks
