yeah, i like a normal fleece now and again, but you're right, they are not built to withstand wind. there is some nice fleeces out there with windstopper material; i'd love to find a snug-ish one with a hood.

I'm quite partial to gokiburi's ulfrotte sweater. Unfortunately, I'm not sure they do mailorder in Canada anymore.

As an aside, I picked up a pair of sidi bullets. If you buy Sidi shoes, *don't* use the stock mounting bolts which use a very small diameter hex. I stripped on with almost no force at all and am now trying to figure out how to get it out

Aggh!!! John, that suxors!

This is not as bad as it seems. Your frame is toast, but that's a warranty replacement if ever I've seen one. Contact the shop you bought it from and they'll contact their (Trek?) rep. You'll probably end up w/ an '07 version of the same bike.

At the very least it'll be annoying to have to wait for replacement frame to come in. That sucks though sweep.

"You shouldn't have started in the first place!"

Shut the **** up. Anyway, I quit smoking. It's been close to a month now so I'm pretty confident I'm not going to freak out and start again now. Woot. The only change I've noticed other than being even more angry all the time is my mouth feels a lot less ganky in the morning. Hopefully my lungs will show me some sort of improvement but the time roadie scum season swings into full gear.

if it makes you feel better, not a whole lot of TO shops are open sundays this time of year either. i kind of like stuff closed on sundays; reminds me of old times when people actually took a day of rest. yes a bit off topic; it sucks that you have to take all the parts off the frame, etc. especially with spring around the corner.

I'd happily do it for you (for some reason disassembling **** is like rolling a nice J) if you can ride it to bikechain.

99% of the bikes we get in are junkers. Working on fully functional bikes is a +.

And I finally got the Sidi screw out by hacksawing a notch in it and using a flathead screwdriver... what a pain.
