Looking to fund an 11 speed group upgrade, so I'm selling off some of my much too large wheel inventory. This is all really nice stuff! All prices assume PayPal gift. Add 3% for regular PayPal.
#1 - Powertap SL+ / Velocity A23 clincher rim -- This has been a bombproof rock-solid reliable power meter that I'm reluctantly selling. Used on my secondary bike for some training rides for about 2 years. It has sat for the last 3 months while I built up confidence that I'd be happy with my new Quarq. I am, so now the wheel is for sale. The zero calibration is always dead on (516-517 usually), the wheel is very strong, and the 23mm wide rim makes for a very nice ride, too. This hub has the newer style 15mm axle and can be converted to 11 speed with a simple 5 min freehub swap (11 speed freehub not included). This is one of the cheapest ways to get one of the most proven power meter systems on the market! This is the wireless model that will work with a Garmin head unit (not included). $500 shipped in the CONUS. Includes skewer, special wrench for removing the battery cover, and a recently replaced set of batteries.
#2 - DT Swiss RR440 21mm Assymetric Rear / Symmetric Front
I had these built for a Cyclocross application, but ended up going with a frame with 135mm dropouts. They have about 150 or so road miles. They are light, stiff, ride super nice, and are very strong. The assymetric rear wheel means the rear spoke holes are offset to the left to give better tension balance. So even with the 11 speed hub, the spoke tension balance is very good! The RR440 is DT's new wide rim (21mm offering) and these rims come at a premium price (I paid $110/each). Great setup for cross or road!
