Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Just hit the "Reply with quote" button and copy the entire contents.

Then cancel it, and paste where desired.

One general word of caution - you never want to quote an argument, inappropriate language or image from a locked thread. That would be frowned upon by the people behind the curtain. Other than the Addiction threads, it's usually locked for a reason.

And never, EVER continue an argument or feud from one thread into another. #LetItGo

For a smart guy, you sure don't catch on, some times.

Just quote someone and look at the formatting. The name portion should be obvious. The number following the semicolon is the post number. You can get the post number by clicking on the direct link to the post that you want to quote and looking at the URL.

I DO hope he's focusing on the eating healthy info instead of futzing around with this quoting nonsense. BF is for fun, health is serious business.

Geeze HP, this seems really frustrating for you and now I can see why. From your Strava data, it looks like you lost cadence once with power, but never lost HR or speed data. From a technical side I don't understand why Garmin isn't more interested in whats happening. You can't be an isolated case.

One question though. Do you have a laptop available to use with one of these? Garmin ANT+ USB I think you can use that with certain software on the laptop to record a workout. I think Golden cheetah can, not sure about WKO+ or others)
Its what I use with Zwift. It also works with TrainerRoad.

And yes, it's not much help while out on the road, but another data point to see if the dropouts are present everywhere.

Okey, dokey. It's a shame I don't have anything I want to quote now, considering how much skill I have just acquired.

Yeah it was a quite silly statement, I actually rode a hybrid that had a triple for many miles of my road miles. I probably never needed the easy/easy combo but it was always there.

For roadie standards my gear combos are classified as granny gears by flatlanders. My compact with a 11-28 is has plenty of range for the climbs where I live so why not?

It wasn't MY idea. Come to think of it, that's probably when the trend of doing the opposite of what I think first came about.

Today, it's hard for me to even imagine that I ever used to ride this thing up hills. 38 pounds with a 52/39 CR and a 24-12 five-speed cassette.

I think EVERYTHING was steel, even the tires and saddle.

Weren't you the one advocating cyclist weight training a couple weeks ago?

So get on your tank and start pedaling.
