Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I say if you don't want to wear a helmet don't, but don't come crying to me for tax money when you need healthcare for life due to a brain injury...

I suppose that is sort of hard to enforce and hence the slippery slope of the nanny state.

I so don't get it. We can say the plural for kittens but not the singular. The word you mentioned might be offensive to a few people, but I think it would be ideal for everyone to be civil and not be censored.

I got enough concussions playing football and lacrosse in high school to know I don't want to risk bonking my unprotected noggin on the deck during an off from a 2 wheeled form of conveyance.

Those looney's that drive around in metal boxes? They shouldn't get my tax moneys for lifetime heathcare when they crash 'em, IMO.

Will look good on your office wall, when you're old and worn out.

Are you going to block the ER doors when accident victims arrive?

...Google Translate might be the answer to your issues with forum overmoderation. Speaking of which, I wonder how they teach classical languages to kids any more, now that Google Translate will accomplish in an eyeblink what it took me three hours to do on a weeknight back in the early 60's ?

I am not much of a beer drinker, but the Mrs and I just split a bottle of "Wild Blue" which is blueberry ale, and it was pretty good. Made by Blue Dawg brewery in Upstate NY.
