Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I need you guys to FOCUS

Not sure how common these are out on the road. I know they are getting popular in the race scene and CX scene, but how many are playing along at home?

Essentially, this is a show us your FOCUS thread. Couldn't find one in search so figured i would start a new one.

I'll start with my mares AX 2.0 converted to road use.

Here's my Mares CX with Ultegra6800. It is a 2013 frame which I built myself.

I recently changed to ROTOR cranks and it is a cracking bike - can ride it all day long.

cheers

They seem like really nice bikes. I never see them around here, but they seem to be very popular in the San Diego area, from what I see on Strava.

they are super rare in my city.

Here's my 62cm Cayo expert 2010 with 6700, upgraded Ritchey cockpit and wheels, carbon seatpost. Just today I found a Sram Red crankset for it

How do you like the 2015 Cayo? It's at the top of my list. What did you come from before the Cayo? Looking for something more comfortable than my al scott speedster but snappy and agile. And I actually like to stretch my back a bit.

Nice bike. I rode with someone once who had this very same bike. It may seem hard to believe, but the bike looks better in person than in the pictures!
