Mid ride in the outer banks. Normally I'd have a small saddle bag, but I forgot it on that trip and just carried a tube/lever/CO2/multi in my pocket.

The end of a little 20 miles morning cruise before the wife and kid got up. Only 1 water bottle since I wasn't going far but this is how she gets ridden.

I know it's not for everyone, but my podium is black with little red accents here and there like cable ends, parts of the seat, and inside the fork on the decals. If I could find that style bar tape with red I'd actually consider it because I think it would finish the bike nicely.

What do you think unstaged means?
I think it basically means any photo of a bike where it isn't being beautified for the typical garage door glamor shot. Mid-ride dirt, water bottles, saddle bag, blinky, ect. I think most people seem to be posting bikes in those conditions. If not, who cares anyway?

About 3 weeks ago I rebuilt my Roubaix with Campy Chorus 11s removing 10s Campy Centaur. Then I decided I so much preferred Campy 10s ergos to new Tiagra 10s which is reminiscent of DA7800 and came stock on my newly built Secteur I set up with rack for light touring which I use for beach town riding...that I would install Campy Centaur from the Roubaix on the Secteur and then ebay the new Tiagra groupset. A game of musical groupsets. 
Just got in from my morning ride and happened to snap a pic. The bike with 11s rides flawlessly....Shimano 11s Ultegra chain and cassette FWIW. Love the new Fulcrum 5 redesigned wheels with adjustable hub preload 'after' the wheel is secured via skewer...to dial it just the right preload. Bike is absolutely perfect including Campy UT carbon compact crank which finally needed a BB bearing change after almost 20K miles. God Campy stuff is robust...Centaur 10s has countless miles and still shifts perfectly...now on its 3rd bike. Rebuilt Roubaix is rock solid and dead quiet over rough road...couldn't be more pleased. I never thought a road bike could be so good after 3 years of ownership.
A sidenote. Honestly I feel absolutely no difference between Campy 10s and 11s...doesn't matter to me...the extra cog is OK but honestly, doesn't change the riding experience by any measurable amount....and I am pretty technically focused. I find more a difference between 9 and 10s which makes sense because percent change is greater...but never felt wanting with 9s either.

Thanks...Jagwire Red Housing with Campy inner cables. I am not a fan of wasting money on foo foo cables. I like the generic stuff. All in the set up. This bike even with its internal cable routing some complain about...slams into gear. No lag. Campy has such positive shifting...versus a more softer shifting DA by comparison...having owned both...and all years of DA including 9000. My fav handlebar having ridden countless is the FSA K wing with internal cable routing. Not the easiest cable routing combo of internal handlebar and internal bike frame cable routing...but the end result is hard to beat in terms of aesthetics and lack of contamination.
Btw, those with an astute eye may notice my bike has Ultegra 6800 brakes. They happen to work perfectly with Campy Ultrashift levers...brake pull ratio is the same as Shimano. Why do I ride Shimano brakes on an otherwise Campy bike? Because they are the best brakes I have ever ridden. I bought them when I built this bike up with DA9000 as an experiment to compare with Campy. After two weeks of riding DA9000, I couldn't wait to strip it off and reinstall Campy but I kept the brakes. They are outstanding. I ride the stuff I like the best independent of brand. And btw, I like Shimano cranks because their design is so good on so many levels from chainring rigidity, to ease of installation to BB robustness...a simple, bulletproof design. But Campy UT is easily as good as a DA9000 crank...or I would have a DA crank on this bike which I am a huge fan of. For example I wouldn't own a Campy PowerTorque 11s crank. Would rather have a 105 11s Shimano crank which I now run with Campy 10s on the Secteur.. Other notables...the FSA Kforce lite seatpost and Ritchey WCS 4 axis Al stem...I believe both to be best in class and I prefer Specialized saddles as well.

My "other" bike. May get some bar tape hate but just something I'm trying and I kind of like it. There are red accents on the seat, inside the fork, and all my cable ends and k-edge mount are red so when I changed it to 11 speed I figured I'd retape the bars red. Bike is full 105, just under 17lbs, and it gets ridden more than my new one because I simply can't get the new one comfortable. I've been fitted, refitted, home fitted, matched it to this one, and still my hands go numb within 20 miles where this one I can stay on all day. This was halfway through a little cruise this morning, still my favorite road bike ever even with lower end components and a higher weight.
