So Something On My Bike Tried To Kill Me - Need Help Identifying What It Is

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Yeah seems to be that front brakes were touched, no memory of this, may be the oxygen debt you mentioned about... that made me laugh.
Of course you accidentally hit your front brake. Who knows better what happened to you while you were riding your bike? You or us internet yahoos?

But, but, but, the internet never lies!
Yeah I either hit the brakes or was leaning too far forward and probably picked the bike up, not sure so curious what others think or have experience themselves and if they had a conclusive answer when it happened to them.
