Robin Carpenter....all stem-flipping jokes aside, this guy gets LOW!!!!......

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

It appears the other riders in the first pic are looking around going "WTF is up with that guy?"

He was asked about that and responded that adding those things would make him too fast...to the point of being unsafe.

just on the off chance anybody is wondering... Minnie in her glory(?) days on Hee Haw.

notice price tag.

i'm old enough to remember her, but never did understand what her claim to fame was, maybe some people thought she was amusing. IDK. she probably got her start on a radio show.

now i'll have to check Wiki...

okay, got her start on stage and radio as a country comedian, "cousin Minnie Pearl". was on "Grand Ole Opry" radio and TV show for quite a while, i guess.

i know, i know, TMI.

Who saw Greg Daniel on his last ditch break in the last 20km yesterday?

He was in this position and still pedalling. Jens, Sherwin and vdVelde were all scratching their heads.

Indeed! That was sick! He did a great job tho! Jens finally spoke truth....."Hey, if it works...."

Although I can still see some daylight between Daniel's drops & his front wheel. He's gonna need to drop those bars a little further if he wants to really get aero.

If Carpenter & Daniels went drafting on eachother in a 2 man break, they could easily be run over by skateboarders....ferrr sherrr!
