Carbon Braking Noise

I took the new wheels for a spin yesterday and had no squeal whatsoever. The first few stops had a ton of grip but as the ride went on they settled in to a nice noise free stop, even under hard braking. I did toe in the pads using a credit card as a shim and cleaned the wheels just before riding to help give it every chance of being quiet and so far so good. I did notice that there's junk in the grooves of the pads after riding so it might be a good idea to blow that junk out with some air after each ride because the buildup could possibly be the cause of the noise if one doesn't clean it? Enough junk gets in there and compresses down then you have a new pad material made of road grime and pad dust that just smears all over the rim and makes it squeal? Maybe not, but I'll keep it clean anyway. Plus the grooves are there to help reduce heat and improve wet braking so if they're clogged that feature is useless. I plan to log some good miles on the wheels over the next few weeks and I'll report back with my impressions, thanks.
