Bad decision imho. Old bikes come with compatibility issues as well as wear and tear. Get a new bike, there are bargains out there. The Specialized Allez Elite is top shelf and only cost a couple hundred more than you are getting ready to waste on that Cervelo. Cannondale has their CAAD10 bikes which are a bargain as well. You will spend more time enjoying riding on a new bike. On an antique bike you likely spend more time (and money) trying to get it road worthy.
