How about something really sentimental (to me anyways)... A classic old-school "dog bone" bicycle wrench!
This old wrench has always been with me in my various saddlebags over the years....
Even though today's bikes are mostly all allen wrench and/or quick release, I just can't part with this old tool!

It's a miracle Silca lasted as long as it did. While the rest of industry moved forward with innovations like dual action pumps, dual valve heads, and others, Silca was romantically attached to the past. I certainly hope the new owners make Silca as innovative as it had been, a very long time ago.
I still have my Silca but the new pumps I've bought for my college age kids have been the Rennkompressors. I also have a Rennkompressor for myself but I'll probably change out the head for a Silca one.

Actually, I'd have to disagree with this. Innovation doesn't necessary bring a better product to market. Silca's design is time tested and it was designed for one thing - pumping up high pressure tires. High pressure pumps don't do dual action in general. You need a small pump tube to get to the pressure. Silca's does this and it doesn't wear out - or at least when it does, it's cheaply and easily repairable. The only other pump that does this well is the SKS Rennkompressor. Both of them are built like tanks, are repairable, will last a lifetime, have had parts availability for decades upon decades and are inexpensive (~$50). At least they both were until Silca when all upscale.
I still have my Silca but the new pumps I've bought for my college age kids have been the Rennkompressors. I also have a Rennkompressor for myself but I'll probably change out the head for a Silca one.
