as i dont know many cyclists in real life, so my perception to road cyclists in general might be skewed by what i see online, which can bias toward people who are more into analyzing and discussing numbers, gear etc...
of the few cyclists that i do know in real life, many just ride for fun and dont really care about looking pro, being aero, having the lightest bike, or the metrics that we stare at all the time (cadence, power, hear rate etc.)

A pretty good list. But as all stereotypes, there is a very wide range of attributes as LA said. Depends.
A group guys in my experience are the worse in terms of friendliness. They like to eat their young and love to drop others to feed their ego.
I believe OP you should add competitiveness and even stubbornness when it comes to getting dropped. Good riders will choose suffering over being dropped.
On the shyness scale, I am probably on the extrovert side of the scale. I like to talk to people including in the group ride dynamic. But agree there are some if not many without much to say but a lot of outgoing friendly riders as well...in particular in the B-D group.

The arrogance and head swelling tends to increase with each group level. I like riding with guys with A group ability and D group attitude. There's some out there.

Totally. I've found there's generally not a typical personality -- it's pretty spread out. I feel most road cyclists are fairly generous and helpful for those who share the passion/hobby with them. It's not often I'm passed whilst fixing a flat or a chain and I don't get asked if I need assistance.

1. Arrogant
2. Dicks (we all know its true). You can't be a proper road cyclist without being one.

Some have a tendency to laugh at us "Fred's" out there. But hey, at least we're out riding and getting a good workout!

I think about all the morons throughout the world caught in a viscious cycle of destructive obsessive behavior. Pick any sport or subject.

Honestly, with all the different folks I've encountered in group rides and racing, I haven't found the range of personalities among roadies to be much different than that of the general population, except that indifference, resignation and laziness are perhaps more rare.
