Welcome to Club Fuji! I have two now, but don't tell my wife that since one is technically the kid's. I've put more miles on it than her, it's set up for me with my pedals, and she went back to her mom's yesterday and likely won't be back until winter. They have no place to store it there so it would have rusted to pieces, been stolen, or both.
Edit: I'm going to put 700x30's and some fenders on it and use it as a winter gravel grinder.

Since nuclear is such a sticky wicket, I default to atom bombular, which is much easier on the ear.

Hey, thanks for the bar tape, @rpenmanparker!!!
Now I can put drop bars back on the Free Spirit. It's had bullhorns for a while but I never warmed up to them, and the tape that's on 'em is on its last leg.

On a related note, I have 2000ish miles on my tubeless tires. There is still wear indicator left on the front tire but I can just barely see the wear indicator on the rear tire. Once the wear indicator is totally gone, do I just swap out the rear tire? Or is the wear indicator another ploy by the bicycle-industrial complex to get me to swap out a tire too soon?

When you went into the back of the shop, did you twist your evil mustaschioes while congratulating yourself on parting another hapless cyclist from his/her hard-earned cash? Do you ever feel guilty being a part of the evil bicycle-industrial complex?

That's what I do with my clinchers. If removing and remounting tubeless is as big a hassle as I have heard, I would replace the rear when it's worn with a fresh tire. You may get several hundred miles beyond the wear indicators.

It's not a hassle, if you have the LBS do it for you.
