Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Crankset up-grade

If your doing a crankset up-grade, And the crank on the bike takes the bb30 and the new crank takes the same bb. Is this a pretty much grease and put the crank on or is there more to it? The bike has a FSA semi-compact crank set on it. And I want to up grade to FSA with BCD - 130 or SRAM crankset. Thanks

Easy sauce. I upgraded my BB30 crankset and all i needed was a torque wrench and elbow grease.

Unless you are doing a 30-24 conversion seems straightforward. But there are different spindle lengths out there. For example I think SRAM Force 22 spindle is longer than Red 22 and needs a spacer in a 68mm bb.
