Reynolds FourtySix Wheels Question
I am seriously considering buying a set of these carbon wheels. Would like to know who of you out there have them or have ridden them and what you think of them. In tubular, they are about 1200 grams less skewers. So they are aero wheels but also climbing wheels with that weight.
These will be tubular wheels. They will replace my Rolf Vector Pro tubular wheels which after 14 years had a hub spoke flange break off, fortunately not while being ridden, but they are done. I like the ride characteristics of tubular wheels and don't have issues with the additional care and work of mounting them. I also have a supply of quality unmounted new tubular tires, hence the desire to stay with this system as my go-fast wheel set.
