Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Domane Riders -- What Tire Pressure Do You Ride At?

Hi all,

My first post here. I just bought a Domane 5.9 and am just curious as to what tire pressure you all are riding at? Thanks in advance for any input.

100 on 25s, 90 on the 28 rear-32 front combo I used over the winter.

The bike would not effect the tire pressure choice. Rider weight and tire choice would be much larger factors in choosing the pressure to ride at.

What he said.

You can find online calculators that account for rider weight and tire size. If you go tubeless (which I highly recommend), you can drop about 10 psi.

I have 25 mm tires and use 95 psi on the front and 105 on the rear based on one of the online tables mentioned. I'm 170 lbs. No pinch flats in 2.5 years.

25 mm tires, 80 psi front and 100 psi rear. I think the front end of the bike is too stiff compared to the rear triangle. I think the best ride quality is closer to 70 psi in the front.
