Question about Bianchi Infinito/Intenso - mix of race and endurance?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

My "entry-level" Sensium came out better equipped for the price, and compared favorably in other ways. (ok, it's purtier, too) It is comfortable and relaxed, yet is lively and quick to respond. The higher level ones are more so. (All this despite my partiality to Specialized , I have a Vita) Lapierre Sensium 100 road bike review | road.cc
I checked out the Sensium online and it looks like a really awesome bike! I haven't heard of LaPierre but I totally dig the bike. I called around some shops in NYC, however, and I couldn't find anyone who has one. If I wanted to try one, it seems like I would have to buy one... I'm not sure I'm ready to go there. But the price and specs sound like a really great package, and I think the styling is beautiful too. Thanks for the tip.

Thanks for answering the question I'm still testing out bikes so if I have a chance to ride one of these I will definitely take a chance to.

YW! Yea, LaPierre doesn't have a big name in the US- only started selling here last summer. They've been around in the EU for a long time, and had a podium finish in last years' TdF. Their website is nice, but the dealer search option doesn't work. My LBS guy suggested you check Danny's Cycles, several in NYC area. Anyway, enjoy whatever bike you get, I don't think you'd be disappointed with any of your candidates! Good luck!
