Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Thanks...It's a handy place for a third bottle. Easy to swap out while riding but I need another side loading cage.

This is what people, with too much time on their hands, do for fun in New Hampshire.

26 miles and 2800 odd feet of climbing after work today.

this for the heads up, ill have to scope out some street view

this route is sortof tentative since ive never ridden in the harriman area, i routed to tiorati only because i saw that there are seasonal roads that close during winter, and im a sucker for that ****.

i used to ride with an aquarack on my previous bike which only had bosses for one cage, so i know where youre coming from with the 3 bottles. i go through a lot of water even when its cooler

That's Paddington! I have been his pal for a long time, @WhyFi. Thanks for thinking of me. Annie's short little films featuring him and the rest of the bunch are masterpieces.

I'm going to switch all of my bikes over to disc brake and tubeless tires and all of my cars over to rim brakes and clinchers.

Also, to tie into the current thread topics, the campsite was full of friendly little chipmunks that would come up and take food right out of your hand if you held it out and made kissy sounds.

They're down under, to be honest. I've never actually met her, but we have been members of the same Shar Pei group for quite a while. He's a striking dog, and I agree about the cats. For cats, they seem pretty cool.

If you do it right, you snag a ride behind a SUV, preferably a Mitsu product. For some reason, the little overhang does a nice job of helping to pull one along. When they hit the brakes, you just go through the rear window, and make a right mess of their interior.

That reminds me of an crash my wife and I saw on the interstate. Some fellows on crotch rockets were racing along. One of them misjudged the speed an action of a Chevy Suburban that they were running up on. The crotch rocket pilot became a passenger in the suburban by entering through the rear window.
