Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Took back KOM (that I had for a hot couple of weeks last year) and clobbered my old time by over five minutes. That's what this new run focus has done. Yeah, feeling a bit braggy.

Actually, now I want to have someone make a Pugsly out of a broken Cervelo R3 Dark. I could ride it around Town Lake at a running pace and get a workout. And maintain an all-Cervelo garage.

Carbon prepreg. He has a composites fabrication background and this was one of his early experiments in bikes. He now does carbon frame and wheel repair as a business.

Nicely done.

Here's my ride from today. Group had an average of over 20 but I got dropped towards the end and ended up with 19.4, still not too shabby. https://www.strava.com/activities/380140982

Excellent!

We took the family assault vehicle (Santana tandem) out with the A group today and managed pretty well. Our group only averaged 19.0 for 49 miles to the cool down (18.7 overall) but we did smoke the final sprint at 34.7 mph on a slight uphill. Only one guy was able to try and come around but we still managed to nip him at the line.
