Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I will be performing for the general public's amusement at several venues this fall. I'm sure somebody will capture some of it.

It's only 665 miles.

What is it, I have to determine if it is worth the drive.

I'm seriously considering doing my birthday ride tomorrow since I'm not off on my birthday. I'm looking at riding the tandem from our place to Vista House in Corbett, Oregon which should be roughly 60 miles. LoP removed the kickstand to make the bike lighter. Then he said, "This is going to be an adventure." I said, "That's the point." He said, "That's a long trip. I hope I'm ready for it." I said, "We'll get you some earplugs. Then you'll be insulated from all the screaming and swearing coming from the back of the bike and you'll be just fine."
