My Merlin Extralight with Woundup CF Fork!

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

My Merlin Extralight with Woundup CF Fork!

I bought the Merlin Extralight about a month ago, and put on over 600 miles since getting the bike! I buy, sell and collect (buying & selling helps collecting), which feeds my addiction (drugs, alcohol and gambling goes out the other end). Over the past several years I've bought and sold 12 Titanium road bikes, this being my twelfth TI bike, it's the best fit. As for the other TI bikes, came close but not totally comfortable. The present Merlin Extra came equipped with Shimano Dura Ace, I replaced the components with Campagnolo Record 11 group that came off a Moots Psychlo-X that I picked up a year ago which I sold the frame and fork to someone in China, but kept the Campy parts! I must say that this is one marvelous bike! Weighs close to my Colnogo C50 (16.3) compared to the Merlinextra Light (17.01). Not bad weight ratio for metal bike to a carbon bike!

Not only does the Merlin Extralight looks great, it rides great
