Road cycling (not commuting) in Malmo Sweden

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Road cycling (not commuting) in Malmo Sweden

Don't know if this is the best forum for this, but I didn't see one obviously better.

I have an opportunity to go to Malmo Sweden next summer. It is a biker's paradise, evidently, but not sure that includes road cycling. That's what I'd want to do–not touring or commuting. I have a Bike Friday Pocket Rocket that I would like to take if I can get out for 2-3 hours sometimes at a good pace, for exercise. (Of course, good scenery is welcome.) Anyone know anything, or would you suggest an alternative forum to ask?

Malmö, Skåne and of course Copenhagen are all fantastic for road cycling. There are dozens of cycling clubs in Skåne with club rides Tues, Thursdays and Sundays.
Google on cykelklubb Malmö and you will find the lins to CK Ringen and Klubben Cyklisten. Pace is generally above 30km/h for sport group and 33-35 for the fast groups...
most clubs also have routes that they can recommend, might be good to check strava...
