Good vintage steel bike?
This is 100 miles away from me, but will be driving near by tomorrow. Is it worth seeing?

is there a good online reference for vintage steel bikes?

You should post your query in the appraisals forum:
Classic and Vintage Bicycles: What's it Worth? Appraisals and Inquiries
That's a huge bike, so first and foremost figure out what size range you should be looking for. (Otherwise, that bike looks like decent value for the money.)

Lower end components, the bike will be kind of heavy but will work fine. The frame is worth upgrading with some Ultegra 600 parts or something. Not a bad price for that condition.

Nice bike, if it fits, and if the components are in good condition. It is a very large bike. Are you 6'2" or taller?

Never mind, it says 25 inch so more like a 63. I would think OP would have to be 6'3"-6'5" for this bike to fit. Not a bad price considering the market. Frame is nice but I don't think the Tenax tubing is anything special but this isn't a dept store Schwinn either
