Repacked a cup-n-cone BB today. No torque wrench was utilized.
Was surprised by the loose-ball nature. Entry level 1992 Yokota MTB, so I fully expected caged bearings.
The balls were mostly grease-free and I was working on the bike upside down, so I was extremely lucky that no balls entered the seattube or downtube upon pulling the spindle.
No lockring spanner to be found, so I had to break out the universal tool:

I went for a ride today in the rain. I got wet. I didn't melt. Think I should start a thread about it?

I looked at a side job this morning. After finishing I stopped at a bike shop local to the area. They had two Seven bicycle cycles in the shop.

46º at the start of our ride this AM under cloudy skies and blustery 15-20 mph NE winds. Only got 38.4 miles at 16.8 mph avg. but we worked for every mile.

I started looking through the employment listings today. There seem to be a few around worth applying for. At least I am in a strong position, being in a job now, even though I am over it, and looking at the same time... I won't appear desperate.

In the Giant bike line, the Defy is the "Endurance" or more upright version of their performance road bike.
I have two questions.
In the Cannondale line is that geometry the Synapse?
In the Specialized line is that geometry the Roubaix?
Okay, three questions...
If I am incorrect on either of those, what is the "endurance'' geometry for each of those.
