Velocity Dyad Reflective?
I'm about ready to do a winter wheel buildup(Trying to preserve my H+ Son's Hard Ano brake track), with PV-8 dyno hub up front and 105 on rear, 32 hole.
Is it worth going with the reflective rim, or not? If not, I might need to go with LIT 360 tires for being seen from the side.

If going with a new build for a commuter, there's no such thing as overkill when it comes to being seen. I'd go for the rim and a tire with a reflective sidewall.

This is true. Coming upon an intersection, where I have the right of way, and a car approaches the intersection on my right, right at the point where the driver wouldn't see my headlight is my biggest paranoia/problem.

Yeah, I like the idea, but not sure how effective it will be. They embed glass beads into the powdercoat, which is pretty cool. It looks great when you view images, but in the real world, I don't know. Hoping someone viewing this thread would have a set to comment on.

I have a pair on my commuter (which now hangs idle since I took a new job much farther away).
They are sturdy rims and the reflective coating works well.
