Island Riding
Well, I'm off to vacation week as of this coming Thursday. It's our annual first week of May trip to Sanibel Island, Florida. We rent bikes while there of course, but these are single-speed tourist cruisers. I'm not taking any riding gear whatsoever. (I am always tempted to rent a better bike and do some REAL riding, but it's a small island and you can only go so far...besides, it's vacation time, not real riding time)
Still, I enjoy commuting around the island on a bike. And as always, one morning I'll actually go out and crank on the thing. I remember two years ago there I was wearing swimming trunks, a T-shirt with the sleeves cut off and flip flops just hammering down the bike path to get my heart pumping. I was yelling out 'On your left" in that get-up! Too funny. It's bike riding in its most simple form, and the exercise makes all that shrimp and seafood go down guilt free every night!

Have a fun time Hip, you paint a pretty vivid picture, I sure see margaritaville. On a small Island you'll have to be careful not to get dizzy from going in circles, and don't forget the sunscreen!!
