Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Picked up my Trek 1200 last night. Traded in my late 80's vintage Trek 1000, that and letting the LBS keep the Wellgo clipless pedals got me $105 off the $830 price tag, so I was out the door for $725 plus tax. This is my third Trek road bike, starting with a 330 in 1984, then my 1000 around 89 or so, and now my new ride! I am a happy camper today. Can't wait to get home tonight and ride.
