Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

But perhaps we can still be helpful.
I didn't even see where one could get one of their frames, except directly, but they seem to be a local brand - perhaps your chances of finding someone with experience with them would be greater by asking around the Bay area rather than on this global forum. Still, maybe it would be interesting to hear of experiences with other "micro" brands that may be comparable.
I get the sense that once you get to a certain level, you almost can't go wrong, and "buy local" is as good a reason as any other to select something from within the same category. I saw a big group ride a few weeks ago, and a large number of the riders were on Montecci bikes - a brand I'd rarely seen and heard nothing about before, but I later discovered why, and what was going on. It turns out the group ride was a memorial to a Dominican who lived and raced in NYC, and Montecci is a small NYC based brand founded by a Dominican. From what I gather, bikes like this are probably slightly more expensive than big-brand bikes of the same construction, but there is something more appealing than price about them.

.
...I live near the Bay Area and travel down there pretty regularly. Sadly, my opinions are worthless.
