I have a 2003 Raleigh c30 comfort bike, but i'm transforming it into a road machine. All i have right now are road bars and i took out the seatpost suspension, i was doing 31.5mph with that thing. I just put the regular brake levers on the road bars and i put the grip shifts on the bar ends, which is very uniqe. What i'm going to upgrade is the saddle which will go from a fat spring saddle, to a San Marcos racing saddle, I'm also going to upgrade the pedals to clip-on's. So i was wondering, how much faster do you think i can go with the upgrades? And what do you think about the transformation?
Here's the link to see a picture of it.

Needs pics! Is this a 700c wheeled bike? If it is running a 700x23c tire would make it faster. Less rolling resistance and all. Although most 700c hybrid rims would be too wide for such a tire.

There's a part under the "go advanced" posting option that says "attachments". From there you just browse to where they are on your hard drive and upload them.
700x35 is a pretty bike tire. I'd take it to a LBS and have them put the narrowest tire that'd fit on those rims. Usually the narrower tire will have a higher air pressure capacity as well which equals less rolling resistance and more speed.
