Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

You kinda bump awkwardly. The game seems to try to hold you right behind the rider ahead as long as you're doing approximately the right power to hold there with its simulated draft. Once you creep past that level, there's a weird shifting that moves you around in front. Sometimes you just fly through stationary riders too, the physics obviously aren't simulation-level

I do like the idea of HAMMERING downhill turns at 42 MPH without SLOWING AT ALL, though.

I made the mistake of reading a comment chain on Facebook today related to climate change.

Obama's social media team posted something about how people denying that it's man-made are lonely. The comments that followed are as would be expected.

Still, here's a selection of the better posts I read. These are all verbatim, separated by post:

Then the world will get rid of all it starving peopleand more.Like Prince Phillip commented on a while back to many people on the earth. That's why I have asthma now ànd Mold is another killer of the air and climent. Why did the West coast take Foil and drop it in to the forests?

I don't believe in climate change. It is 110% hoax.

Climate change is the real and can destroy the world... Kinda like wars

Loneliness is but a feeling springing from an emotionally unprotected childhood. So being lonely is not a reason to join the hippie mania that hinges on eschatological thought. The answer to loneliness is learning how to make friends, not to become a zoned out anti-everything hippie. Liberal politicians built the superhigh-ways, and now that the project is done we can suddenly not use them for driving? Government is NUTS.

So why the great men of this world don't change anything??? Stop the capitalism, stop the power of money. It's time to place human being in the center of our society!!! it's our responsability to keep safe the planet for our children and their children!!! From a french guy!!!...

Oh it's real, and it's man made, by haarp and chemtrails... You're just using it to push your NWO agenda. Too bad it's going to fail.

They still make a version of it with electric start and other amenities for under a grand. I don't know if they're still as tough as the old ones.

I get to play bike messenger after work. I need to take an amazon return to the shipping place and I need to send of the Q-rings that sold yesterday (at full price, none of those lowballer jerks). I could go home and change and jump in the car, but I realized that it's probably just as quick to ride the bike and the route is pretty safe, so why the heck not? I need to get skinny, right?

My snowblower works ok but stalls out every 1-2 minutes. Starts right up again. I probably had to go through 50 start/stall/restart cycles yesterday to clear the driveway. Thank goodness it has an electric starter.

Can anyone diagnose the problem based on what I described??

I'd never heard of Ariens 'til a few years ago when someone gave us an Ariens mower for free. She was a beauty. Pure performer!!!
