    Murrieta/Temecula Group rides on Friday

    Im visiting Temecula on friday and should be done my job by noon,Anyone here riding on this area and knew some group rides or a nice route maybe if any? Thanks for your help..

    You should go post on the SoCal regional forum, which has pretty active participants.

    Otherwise, just ride up Palomar.

    highly recommend the de luz area directly east of temecula/murrieta. lots of rolling/challenging terrain and changing scenery.
    plunges into cool, canopied canyons and shortish, sun-beaten ascents. the santa rosa plateau area (accessible from clinton
    keith rd.) is gorgeous and approximates southern california 150 years ago visually. los gatos rd is either a looong 25% ascent or descent and
    respectively requires you check yourself or your brakes.

    palomar mountain is kinda nearby but requires either driving or a semi-longish/difficult (traffic!!) approach. de luz is much closer
    (at least for the vast majority of the business/lodging in the area). plus...the traffic is fairly light.
