Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Shave your legs with your spouse or significant other?

While I was shaving before a race the other day I had a good laugh. My fiance and I were both shaving our legs together. We joked around abit about it but made me think about how many people shave with their significant others. She's a cyclist too so it's not weird to her at all anymore, but I'm sure others think it weird.

I take it a step farther. My fiance is a triathlete - I have her shave my legs for me!

Shave your legs with your spouse??

Absolutely not!!!
It could lead to things like clipping toenails together.

hmmmm, is she feeding you grapes while doing this, because if she is, you quite possibly have to be my idol. My girlfriend still jokes about me not having hair on my legs, so the shaving together might freak her out more.

I will have to suggest that next time, but she seems to stay pretty busy with the shaving chores. Perhaps she can put the grapes out in advance!

Early in my marriage my wife tried shaving my legs. Unfortunately too many bumps, tendons and other impediments to a smooth shave. Now if I don't shave them I get asked if I'm gonna shave them or braid them. Sigh - shows what 22 years of marriage does!

Donna uses one of the epi-lady things (those gadgets that rip the hair out by the roots) and our shower is too small for both of us to shave at the same time. The only thing I can get her to shave for me is the back of my neck.

I borrow her Venus razor all the time, and occasionally she helps me get the back of my knees or ankles.

He prefers to shave in the bath (alone). But when he's done, he points out the shaved hairs coating the tub for me to clean out. Does that count?
