This is what I'm talking about,
MRI Assessments. The coaching service of Dr. Douglas Gillard
I get requests for this kind of stuff all the time. It is a No-No big time. I cannot dispense medical advice to a patient/client I have never seen. Not even if I call it "coaching".

Believe it or not, I didn't get point one this weekend because they only take a competitors best 4 finishes in each discipline. Which is tt, road, crit and hill climb.
My nemesis is the big guy I followed around the first corner, and the last corner. He finished second. I needed to stay on his wheel and not follow that other fellow. Sadly, that other guy is usually very strong, but not lately. Split second decision cost me a bit.
I lost 11 points, but still have a 30 point cushion. Upside, new 1,2 and 5 minute bests. I am doing a lot of work out there, which allows the teammates to hide and race.

(Just kidding, you get something out of every race.)

I'm just surprised the wifi on Amtrak is fast enough for Heath to upload photos while en route. I've tried using it before and it's virtually worthless unless you're just checking your email.
Unless she's using cellphone date.

That reminds me. I need to get some movies on my phone. I've never flown before, so I have zero idea of how in flight entertainment works, but I'm preparing for worst case scenario of no wifi and no movies or not one I want to watch.
Speaking of not having flown, I don't think I mention it much, but my degree was in aerospace. I mostly took it because I thought mechanical would be boring, but I got an aero degree, learned a lot about flight mechanics and aircraft design and 1) had only been on a plane once when I was a kid and 2) really had no interest in working for Lockheed, Boeing, etc.

Same here. My chiro sessions are essentially a therapeutic massage. My GP approves and knows I go there.

Hope HP's train wasn't the one that collided with the car yesterday.

Thankfully no. That train would have made more sense for us because it actually goes to LA. But we wanted to do this one instead because we wanted to see the Rockies & Sierra Nevadas. Totally great decision, even though it's more of a hassle (we fly home from Sacramento later today).
Amtrak is not exactly high-end, but this route is for sure something I'd recommend. Also the Coast Starlight from LA to Seattle, which we did a few years ago.

Only train that I've ridden is the old Durango to Silverton. Incredible views.

Believe me, that thought crossed my mind. Turned myself inside out on Sunday, not so much on Saturday, so it was somewhat frustrating. Either way, working towards the 3 days of Salida, so it is what it is.

When I get home, I think I'm going to revamp myself nutritionally.
And possibly get a mtn bike.

Who is it that says "the best training is racing"? Whoever it is, he's smart. You made the right decision.

Curious on the nutrition, Heathpack. I'm hitting carbs at an all time high, with an adequate amount of protein to keep me going.

Mostly I mean cutting out the not-very-nutritious stuff, like pretzels & ice cream. Less sugar off the bike. More vegetables. Nothing mind-blowing. Just tightening up the loose ends, being better about it all.

Wow on that chiropractor guy. Questionably legal to be advising people outside of a patient-doctor relationship (which requires an in-person meeting, history taking and a physical exam). If not illegal (I'm not sure how it works for chiros), it's definitely questionably ethical.
However my sympathies to anyone who has enough pain that they feel compelled to do an Internet consultation.

The usual process is to look at the 1 paragraph the radiologist typed up and read it to the patient.
