Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I'd buy a duplex and do this, but I'm not going to expect that the other rental pays enough to float the whole thing or that I'm going to get rich quick by any means. Would be a ton of work. Not sure I'd want to live on-top of the person who is renting from me either. Best would be small home for myself, and duplex short trip away.

Thanks guys. Yeah, it's been... yeah a rough day. I'd say "up and down" but it's more like "down and downer". Even pulling out the vacuum cleaner to clean up from his food I thought "oh, let me make sure he's in the other room first so I don't scare him".

In #adulting news, we literally just moments ago got an offer on AG's condo. Two weeks and a day on the market. Wow, Austin.

So sad to hear. Glad, though, that you were able to capture some great images to go along with your memories. I know that you're not big on prints, but this might be a good time to make exceptions.

I attended a beginner trike ride this morning and it was excruciatingly slow (11.4 mph) but it made for a good rest day and got to meet some nice old guys.

Cockroach bikes.
