Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

What happened with Colnago? There was a time one could not watch the TDF without seeing a plethora of Colnagos. What gives?

It's all Mike Sinyard's fault.

You're not supposed to use bacon grease.

We're taking the tandem assault vehicle to the retired racer ride this morning. We'll either be banned from bring it again due to the speed on the flats or we won't be able to keep up on the hills. Should be interesting.

Work servers are working again. Guess I don't get another surprise day of yard work and re-cabling my bike.

I also noticed that my left bar wrap ends about an inch sooner than my right bar wrap. That's going to drive me insane unless I re-do it.

That shifting with the new housings and cables, though... Buttah.

Does anyone know of any good long reach brakes? I know Shimano makes some but they are silver only. I also found some from TRP, but they are a bit pricey. Any other options out there?

Still here, but my smilies are no longer available. Is it a multi-step ban where features are removed one at a time?
