Quick question about chain rings...
I'm thinking about replacing the FSA chain ring on my CAAD 10 to Shimano 105 (to match much of the rest of the bike).
Aside from getting the same size I'm replacing (52/36) is there anything I need to be concerned with, like the type/size of bottom bracket on the bike?
...yes, arm length 172.5mm.
Thanks.

Are you talking about just the rings themselves or the whole crank? If changing the whole crank with rings to a 105 you will need some $30 adapters from Wheels Manufacturing to adapt your Bottom Bracket from BB30 to Shimano, no problem there. If you're talking about just the actual chainrings themselves then you need to know your bolt circle diameter or BCD in order to find the correct rings for your application. Being a 52/36 I'll venture a guess that your BCD is 110 but keep in mind that some of the later Shimano rings have an offset 4 bolt pattern where your FSA likely has a traditional 5 bolt pattern. Don't assume it will just work, give us some more info about what you want and what you have so we can help you get the right stuff.

Sorry - yes - it's the rings and cranks.
So I will need adapters for the BB30. That's good to know. Thank you.
