Another new bike thread.
bocce bike by Todd Crandall, on Flickr
Just picked this up. I looked at several bikes on the internet because I live an hour plus from a bike shop. But I decided to follow the advice so often given here by me and many others and visit an lbs. I visited two that are close together to make the trip more worth my while. One shop gave me a great deal on the last Bianchi they had in the shop. It's a 2015 demo bike and looks brand new. Completely spotless, right down to the paper sku sticker on the bottom bracket.
All I've done thus far is flip the stem, install the pedals and cages. I'll start adjusting over the weekend and go back for a fitting in two weeks to let them help me get it dialed in and probably cut the steerer.
Anyhoo, I'm a complete neanderthal when it comes to dressing up a bike so any pointers in that area would be appreciated. I'd like to add some celeste, up to and including cages and saddle.

what size are those tires? Is it an optical illusion? They look huge.

This is just me, but honestly, I would leave it as is concerning the celeste. That bike is pretty sweet looking as is. Going and adding too much immediately changes the look, even bottle holders. I like the look of it now.

OP, your Bianchi looks beautiful just as it is. The celeste on it on as accents is what makes it so striking, IMHO. Ride the heck out of it, and maybe, maybe, when the handlbar tape gets worn next season, play around with celeste tape. But I'd leave the cages and the seat black.

Maybe celeste accented cages and celeste hoods?
Leave the saddle and bar tape black. The hoods can make for a nice accent if you want just a splash more color. Also hoods are much easier to keep clean than lighter tape.
