Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

We had a couple people over this year, but we always do at least midnight.

But, your midnight comes two hours earlier than hours. Much easier for you folks out east!

Low-to-mid 30s. Sunny. Roads were pretty clean.

And fairly often. Only side-effect; desire for extra coffee the next day.

I may have mentioned, Mrs. rjones28 has been on a total meal replacement diet for the last few months. Assembling sandwiches is my cooking specialty.

Pretty much. I only made it that late because the book I was reading was interesting.

I haven't been able to drive my Corvette for days. Too cold, too much salt on the roads. It's driving me crazy.

But I did start 2017 with 30 hard miles on the Foil yesterday, so I have that going for me. That's 1200 less calories I have to worry about. I turn 60 years old in early November, my goal is to weigh 59 lbs by 10/30.

I think we need to set up this thread in the Fifty Plus subforum and send several of our gray hairs out to pasture there.
