Cannondale caad12
I am thinking about buying a cannondale caad12.
I am 17 years old and was wondering if this bike is fit for racing at a national level. In reviews not a lot is said about how the bike performs in races. I am 1,82 and weigh 60 kg.
Thanks for helping me out!

I've sent a note for the topic to be moved to: Road Cycling - Bike Forums
Most of the top end bikes should be fine for racing. There will be a few ounces difference from one frame to another. But, if you're competitive, then it won't make that big of a difference. There can be a lot of excess weight in wheels and components, so consider those carefully, perhaps even "race-day" wheels.
One thing to keep in mind is that crashes are common in some races. Some people choose to ride a lesser quality bike in criterium races. Or, perhaps anything except the very top level races.

CAAD12 is a great bike, lots of them show up at all our local races. It won't hold you back. Hopefully you already have some fitness and experience if you think you're going to be racing at a "national level" in the near future.

One of the most highly acclaimed frames in existence. I think it should suit you.

Yeah ... it will be fine at whatever level You can make it work. If one holds up the other, it won't be the bike.
