Spinergy Xaero Lite - anyone tried these?

Speaking of wheels, I own a set of those old Spinergy Rev-X's, which were given to my by a young lady who didn't like the way they rode. Well, I don't like the way they ride either, so they're currently holding one of my bikes off the floor while I decide on a new wheelset.

One of my choices are the Spinergy Xaero Lite. It's a choice because Spinergy has agreed to let me trade in my Rev-X's for a new set of wheels, and the trade-in value would make the Xaeros around $350. This isn't much more than I picked up my Mavic Cosmos for, but before I jump on it I wanted to get a feel for how other people have found this wheel.

Anyone here ridden them?

I've owned a set of Xaero Lites since 2002. They've been very solid, reasonalbly light and have stayed very true - only needing one slight tweak to the rear wheel over 3 years of riding. The PBO spokes also seem to make for a smoother ride versus SS.

That's pretty nice of Spinergy to give you a trade-in on your old wheels... I haven't really read any reviews of them, but they look pretty neat.

The PBO spokes definately make for a smoothr ride. I have a pair of the earliest Xaeros from fall 2000. They had hub problems which required fixing twice, but my 200 lbs has translated into regular wheel truing. I put them on my daughter's bike as she is only 120lbs. If you are looking for a smooth ride go for it.
