Colnago vs Bianchi
Price wise, I know they are in different category.
I'm just a casual rider, never raced, never will, so just looking for guys who have had experience with these bikes.
Colnago C60 vs Bianchi Oltre XR1 or XR2.
Price wise, basically, for the price of the C60 frame, I could get a full ultegra XR2 (lotto edition...so so on graphics) or a 105 XR1 (with $1000 spare)
All the reviews on C60 is good.
There is one UK review that states the XR1 as extremely aggressive, but I can't see it from the geometry comparison.
C60 and XR1 share the same reach, stack, within 1mm.
Headtube is actually less on the C60 127mm vs 130mm XR1.
Horizontal top tube is 5mm longer on the XR1.
I can't test ride any of them, because they don't have fully built bikes for test riding, plus they won't because they can't sell it after if I decide I don't like it. Its just the way things are done here unlike the US or UK.

you have to compare apples to apples. The C60 is to the Specialissima what the Oltre is to the V1-R

I'd get the C60 in MAPEI colors. Dream bike right there. The Bianchi might be a faster bike as a whole tho.

You can order a C60 frame from Merlins in the UK for $4100. Colorado Cyclist has the Oltre XR4 frame, in limited size and color range, for $3825. Both bikes are stunning with the C60 having the more classic look while the Oltre, being aero, more dynamic. Cant go wrong with either.
