As a last update I ended up buying a Specialized Roubaix, the base model. Nuts huh? After talking to a few LBS staff about what my goal is I landed on the Specialized Roubaix to replace my Fuji Roubaix I already have great disc ready wheels and a Ultegra/105 Group so I bought the base model which gets me all the frame perks of the higher end models w/o the heft price.
The new Tiagra is great the 11-34T climbs like a goat and she soaks up the road chatter like a sponge! I installed the stiff spring on the Future Shock, my ISM PR 3.0 saddle, DT Swiss wheels and it's working very well. The only downside is the TRP provided pads, they are still breaking in but they are a bit touchy I'm going to swap to better grade pads and bed them in properly should fix the feel.
I also had the shop order the higher end seat post as it is great at further soaking up the road chatter.
All in all the refinement of the Specialized finishing kit is nice the bar tape and stock saddle are nice even the stock pedals if you aren't a clipped in rider and for $1829.99 I got a lot of bike and satisfied my goal cant ask for more.

Swapped
- Bought the 10 speed model and swapped out a few parts already:
- Axis Sport Disc Wheels --> Mason Hunt Aero Disc
- Stock tires --> Continental 4000's (28mm)
- Stock Saddle --> ISM PN 3.0 Saddle
- Stock pedals --> Shimano 105 pedals ( I forgot the number)
- Stock brake pads --> Swisstop 15 Green pads ( I wanted the S pads but they are in short supply)
- Stock brake Rotors --> Shimano Deore XT Ice Tech centerlock 160mm F/R
- Swapped in the stiff spring and 10mm spacer
Added:
- Wahoo Element
- F/R strobe lights
To add:
- RS405 Levers to convert to Hydro Brakes the Spyres are ok but the modulation is meh I wouldnt be shocked if Specialized skipped out and used regular brake housing vs the low/non compression type for mechanical disc brakes. Thought about Hy/RD calipers but they are made for 11 speed throws and at $100+ per caliper and it still being not as smooth Ill spend the extra $150 for a full RS405 Lever+Brake set.
- Better bar tape the stock Specialized suede is nice to the touch but a bit thin. I'll probably leave it in place and wrap over it with Grip-Tec or Fizik tape
- Specialized SWAT storage box (holds all the tools that makes your jersey lumpy )
- Specialized Matte Black bottle cage, you know because, cool:cool:
