and they only made 20... you better order now...
Just snagged a 1985 Regis that was put out by a neighbor for trash pickup - low end I know and needs some tuning up but in nice condition - I was looking for a second bike and the price was right
Here is my new SST 2.0, Hopefully by Turkey day I will have Sram Red and Sram S60 wheels on it.

Where else but the internet can a bunch of cyclists go and be the tough guy.
just sold my '02 Finest AL to my brother, he was long overdue for a different bike, especially one that a) fits him and b) is under 25lbs.
On the list is Roubaix 1.0, a good step up for me from the Finest. It will be a winter/early spring purchase, no sense buying it now to only ride it for another 6-8 weeks before making it a living room ornament for the following 6 months...
My '09 Team. Seen here before without all of the upgrades and elsewhere on BF with.

I am about to get a Fuji Newest 1.0. It will be the first road bike I have ever owned. It has a 105 rear derailer, tiagra elsewhere, aluminum frame and carbon fork. With a 15% discount on top of Performance Bike's "discounted" price of $799 ($680), it seems as if I am getting a pretty good package for the money, however, I have not seen much on here about this model (or a recent year's equivalent). Does anyone have any experience with this bike that you can impart to me? As a first time road rider (and not much of a bicycle rider, period, for most of my adult life), it seems to me a fairly sensible choice based upon specs and bang for the buck, but I am curious about anyone's firsthand experience.
Any and all responses are mucho appreciated!
I've got a Fuji Team Issue, I think a 2003 model. I bought the bare frame three years back, second hand, fitted some Reynolds Ouzo Pro forks, and kitted out with Campagnolo Centaur/Veloce drive train and brakes, Planet X Model B wheels, FSA bars/stem. white Fizik Arione saddle. It looks exactly like the attached brochure photo apart from saddle colour.
It rides really well, comfy enough and reasonably light. I use as my winter/training/commuter hack. Has an unusual headset size which took me a while to sort out (it's neither Cane Creek nor Campag standard, but TH's own, bearings are available though). Now sporting a couple of dents/scrapes on the top tube, I'll just keep using it until it dies. Nice bike, I like it, but it's not so precious that I have to worry about it.
A pretty rare animal here in the UK, I've only ever seen one other.

I'm still loving my 1991 Fuji Club. I rode it a half dozen times last year before getting a new Cannondale Six Carbon 5 (which I love). Recently converted it into my daily commuter. Really enjoying the new riser bars, and I think it's one of the best looking bikes I see on any given day.

LBS is trying to sell me a Roubaix ACR 3.0 instead of a standard Roubaix 1.0
They say the frame upgrade justifies going with a lower component group (Tiagra instead of SRAM Rival) Any thoughts?
Fuji Newest 3.0. It was my first modern day road bike. All aluminum, no carbon. Sora derailleurs, Tektro brakes. It was a new '06 that I bought in early '07 as a last year's model for a small discount. I've since bought a new road bike for the weekend rides, but I kept the Fuji for after-work and winter riding. Just rolled over 10,000 miles on it this week. Still has original Alex R500 wheels on it. Total of three broken spokes, one at a time, on rear wheel, and it is still rolling well and true. Front wheel has never been trued. Original derailleurs, cranks, wheel bearings, bottom bracket etc.
This has been a great bike... great bang for the buck! Six centuries ridden on it. I still ride Ol' Fuj regularly.
Those Footon-colored SST's are hideous, but the white 2.0 is so sexy.
Im about to pick up a Fuji Finest steel framed bike tomorrow! Will be my first road bike and I can't wait!
Pics when I get the bike, for now, this is all I've seen of it:

This is what I ended up with. Not sure what to call it, but I love the ride, and got a great deal on it...
So happy, words cannot describe...
$40 (tank of gas) and a set of road race leathers for this badboy!
