So happy, words cannot describe... :)
$40 (tank of gas) and a set of road race leathers for this badboy! http://img815.imageshack.us/img815/1626/cimg0127g.jpg |
My fiancé gave me this 1975 Fuji Professional for my last birthday. This was the first year that it was produced and sold in the US market, although they were not offered in the catalogs until 1976. From looking at pictures only, I never liked the silver mink paint, but now I know that pictures do not do it justice.

1985 Fuji Espree, quad butted Valite tubing. Not as nice as most of the Fuji's here, but she does the job nicely as my commuter. Built up the frame set with mostly parts I had on hand. Defiantly no weight weenie at nearly 25lbs, but she rides nice and I actually like the extra heft on all the windy mornings we've had lately.

I only have a picture from when I first bought it. It's a 2010 Roubaix ACR. 105 Rear and the rest is Tiagra.

Here's my first road bike. Nothing real fancy, just an entry level 2010 Newest 3.0. Love it so far. In fact, I got my wife one for herself. Planning to get Forte Titan black wheels.

Does anyone know of Fuji's warranty policies? I have an 07 Team and might be a problem(cracking) in the frame. I dont have the reciept or anything..

Resurrecting a really old thread for comic value...
I just bought this 1995 25th-Anniversary purple Fuji Regis yesterday. I've started riding a few days a week, no more than 10 miles a day, and been looking for a bike to replace my junky Huffy that I bought at Wallyworld about 10 years ago and was too short for me (I'm 5'9" and even with the seat and handlebars all the way up I was getting hip, wrist, and shoulder pain). I was hoping to find a 1970's Chicago Schwinn - feeling nostalgic about the lime-green 1975 Varsity that I had for many years and eventually donated to a church rummage sale - but hadn't seen one yet, at least not at a bargain price. Well, I just happened to drive past a storage-rental place and saw a bunch of bikes and a hand-printed sign, and there she was, all the way in the back - a BIG GIRL bike. In really good condition, except for the dry-rotted tires. I hopped on and was able to STRAIGHTEN MY LEGS! Wheeee! The guy wanted $75. I talked him down to $60 and got $25 for my old Huffy. I perused this thread and see that most of the Fujis here are either 1980's or 2000's - where are all the 1990's bikes? Apparently in storage units. So, yeah, it really isn't in the same ball park with most of the bikes here, but it makes me happy. To make it even nerdier, I added on a black wire mesh basket and rear-view mirror. Let the hysterical laughter begin. :) http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=224743 |

Hi Guys, I just bought a 2012 fuji touring bike today from my LBS for $900. I did not like the fact that i was not told what the model was. Cos I later realized I could have gotten a 2013 model for about the same cost. The LBS guy was even telling me i just bough the last of his best selling bikes. I think i paid too much for this bike. I want to know if there is a huge difference between the 12 and 13 models. Cheers

I had a Fuji newest Aluminum w/ all 105, nice bike for about 100 miles then had to return it due to my heel constantly hitting the chainstay. Low end usually refers to both frame and components. The Newest I had would be considered low end range of the Fuji line.................although, Shimano 105 is not cheap stuff, very good in fact. Alot of people I ride with have 105 spec'd out on their carbon fiber race bikes.
I have 9 bikes (soon 2 b 10) and ride 90% SRAM mostly Force which I consider the best quality race ready componentry out there. |
I bought a Fuji Roubaix last year. Love it. Maybe 2000 miles on it now. I ride a lot of the charity rides....never see another one, always see treks, specialized and cannondales....I bought it because I thought it would be a good entry level road bike. Thought about upgrading but I am not a racer. If I did, I might just get another Fuji.

Chalk it up to experience. If it bothers you so much that you can not enjoy it, return it. |
My wife & I basically got His & Hers Bikes.
She was going to get the identical to mine (Fuji Roubaix 3.0 LE), but it didnt fit her well. So the guys at PB showed her this one (Fuji Finest 1.1) and she loved it! https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-9...0/DSC_0440.JPG https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-D...0/DSC_0442.JPG |

Here is a pic of my Fuji Altamira, my first real road bike and it's been a great bike. It was a custom build at my local bike shop. 2012 Altamira SE frame set with mostly 105 drivetrain, Ultegra cassette and FSA cranks. I have had my Altamira since June 2013 and it fits great, rides great, never breaks down. I think the decision to start off with a high end frame and fork, but stay reasonable on the components to keep the cost down was smart. As time goes on I can upgrade parts and keep this bike a long time.

2013 Fuji SST 3.0 LE from Performance. Love it

I've got a "few" Fujis. I just picked up a 1986 Fuji del Ray with black silver (Star Silver) components that was ridden and dropped once! One of my favorites rides! I've got MTBs, touring bikes, and some great racers! Oh! Yeah, I found some beautiful mixtes this summer!
