Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

DEVINCI CX cf bike...where in NEW YORK?

Hey, do any of you new yorkers know of any dealers in the nyc area that sell the devinci cx carbon fiber bikes? I am very interested in test riding them to see if its something I would like to purchase. Devinci's site doesn't list any in nyc but I was hoping that a dealer here might have already started to carry them.

Can anybody help me out? :|

I live in the NYC area and have never seen a deVinci in a shop in our area. Come to think of it, I've never seen a deVinici in any US shop - it is a Canadian brand....maybe they don't distribute to the US?

The site shows one dealer in Madison, NY. I have seen the Cx at a Dealer in Hamilton, Ontario, CA. I'm assuming you won't be coming up here to check one out. I hear Toronto is a nice city to visit and only about 8 hour drive from you. Come up and see us in Canada. The Devici's are nice bikes and at a resoonable price.

My LBS sells them, great bike for the money. Sorry, that doesn't help you much.

Maybe you should call DeVinci to get some advice as to where you can test ride one. Sorry, that's the best I have for ya.

Thanks anyway guys but despite the appeal of the devinci cx line....I think I will have to go with another brand. :|
