Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

You know I just realized what I thought was a bunch of scratches in the 2nd photo are actually the reflection of the bike in the paint...which means yours is cleaner than mine.

Nice bike, I just got the same one in the matte gray, with the Shimano Flightdeck + Wireless kit, and some of the Shimano PD-R540's, I love it. After a week I've put in 50 miles, but have had to cut back a bit cause my knees aren't as ready to go as my mind is. I know what you mean about the thunderstorms, it's been that way here for 2 days... it just sits in my office saying "ride me," heheh. Awesome ride though, enjoy!

Its the best bike, especially in that color. Actually there is another thread floating around about the bike from recent purchasers too, check it out if you are interested.

Also, Skingraft, I was just wondering b/c it looked like there was alot of spacers below the stem, and I didnt think mine came that way from the lbs.

Nice pix. Brand spankin' new. I bought a blue 58cm - I'll post pix next week when I get it. Did you upgrade the brake calipers? I put Ultegra on mine...yours don't look stock either. Also - looks like the 53 chainring isn't black adonized like the catalogue shows, which would make me happy. Congrats - sweet ride!

Car? What car?

At least he got rid of the reflectors (if any).

Only thing wrong with that bike, is the fact that you will soon find the desire to own another one. Why, you ask? You'll figure that out after riding for a while.

Happy riding.

The dork disk on the other hand, got cut off.
