You are the best judge of which shoes fit your feet the best. Visit four or five good bike shops in your neighborhood. Look at a variety of bikes in your price range. Test ride your favorites. Judge which shop seems most willing to give you good service before, during, and after the sale. Re-visit the "finalists" and decide which bike and which shop feels right to you. At this point, I usually buy the red bike.
