Downhill Pub Race!!!

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Downhill Pub Race!!!

Mountain Gravity Labrotories brings you..!
The Downhill Pub Series

This Month;
July 31st
Top of Mount Evans, Colorado.
5 PM.

Just a friendly, race to Tommynockers in Idaho Springs.

Rules are simple,
1- the law of gravity.
2-no pushing (we're all going to the same place.)
3-either ride legal or pay the ticket.
4-skin grows back, skulls don't, wear a lid.
5- If you lay it down, don't hit a car or go flying off a cliff...it's against the rules see?
6- First one to get a beer at Tommy's wins.
Bikes; Anything road legal, just remember that handleing is important and there is some level ground and a tiny bit of up to the ride.
There are usually small side bets on the finish.

Getting to the top.
Fired out of a cannon isn't recomended, we do start late enough you could ride (don't be late) but hitching a ride or having someone drop you at the top is generally recommended.

There are plenty of group rides, plenty of hill climbs. MGL rides test gravity, challenge bike handleing skills in a friendly competitive environment and brings cyclist together for eye blurring descents in the quest for good beer.

See you there!
