Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Miyata 512 - late 80s/early 90s

Anyone have info on this particular model? I know the frame is Miyata's triple butted tubing. That's about it.

I bought a "Pro Miyata" in '86 also triple butted. Retailed at the time for around $1100. It came with Suntour Superbe group and a B. Hinault turbo saddle. I don't know much else about Miyatas.
